  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups oats (quick cooking or old-fashioned)
  • 4 tablespoons milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
  2. Cream together shortening, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in water and vanilla extract until combined.
