  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons gluten-free reduced-sodium Tamari (or soy sauce)
  • Minced peanuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a half baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Trim the tough ends off the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half lengthwise. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-17 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce and Tamari. Brush this mixture over the roasted Brussels sprouts.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until bubbling hot.
