  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 head broccoli, chopped
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 12 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 (4 oz) package sliced mushrooms
  • ½ pound spaghetti, cooked separately

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Pour one-third of the sauce into a greased slow cooker. Layer chicken breasts on top and cover with remaining sauce.
  3. Cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or LOW for 6–8 hours until chicken is fork-tender.
  4. Stir in broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and mushrooms with two-thirds of the remaining sauce; cover and cook on HIGH for an additional hour.
  5. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot along with cooked spaghetti. Gently toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
