  • 1 jar (16.9 ounces) prepared Alfredo sauce
  • pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup minced onions
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 10 lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Blend roasted garlic and Alfredo sauce until smooth.
  2. Sauté chicken in olive oil until golden; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, cook onions and butter until translucent, then add flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken stock and half-and-half; bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the blended garlic mixture, spices, and return chicken and mushrooms to the pot.
  6. Add broken lasagna noodles; cook until tender.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
