10 oz mushrooms (button or baby bella)
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup all-purpose flour
3–4 tablespoons olive oil
2 ½ cups beef broth
1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp better than bouillon
1 teaspoon soy sauce
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/3 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Slice mushrooms and sauté them in melted butter over medium heat until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; coat in flour. Sear them in the same skillet until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes each side). Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic, beef broth, bouillon, and soy sauce; simmer for about 5 minutes.
Return chicken to skillet, then stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
