  • 10 oz mushrooms (button or baby bella)
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 34 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ½ cups beef broth
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp better than bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Slice mushrooms and sauté them in melted butter over medium heat until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; coat in flour. Sear them in the same skillet until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes each side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic, beef broth, bouillon, and soy sauce; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Return chicken to skillet, then stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
