4 ounces deli-sliced chicken
4 ounces deli-sliced turkey
4 ounces deli-sliced turkey pepperoni
4 ounces deli-sliced peppered turkey
4 ounces provolone cheese
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
½ large tomato, sliced
¼ large red onion, sliced
¼ cup sliced green or black olives (optional)
¼ cup sliced banana peppers (or jalapeños)
1 tablespoon fresh basil (optional)
½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or balsamic vinegar)
1½ tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1–2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
1 teaspoon mustard (to taste)
Instructions
Prepare the veggies: Wash the iceberg lettuce and pat dry. Slice the tomato into rounds and the red onion thinly.
Mix the dressing: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the sandwich: Spread the dressing on the bottom slice of bread. Layer shredded lettuce, meats, provolone cheese, tomato slices, onions, olives, banana peppers, and optional basil.
