  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 jar (16 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Boil bell peppers in salted water for five minutes; drain upside down on paper towels.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant (about two minutes).
