  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 heaping tbsp gochujang

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the gochujang until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-13 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  9. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
