  • 1 lb Ground beef (or turkey/chicken/vegetarian substitute)
  • 1 Taco seasoning packet
  • 1 lb Pizza dough
  • 1 cup Refried beans
  • 1/2 cup Salsa or taco sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • Toppings: Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, black olives, optional jalapeños or avocado

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water as per instructions; simmer until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and pre-bake for 5 minutes.
  3. Spread refried beans and salsa over the crust. Layer with the cooked meat mixture and top with shredded cheeses.
