  • 1 small onion (minced)
  • 6 garlic cloves (pressed)
  • 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 12 oz sweet chili sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 oz sliced bread (1 or 2 slices depending on the bread)
  • 2 tbsp milk to soak the bread
  • 1 tsp coarse salt (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chives (diced)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together sweet chili sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine soaked bread, ground turkey, onion, garlic, ginger, eggs, salt, red pepper flakes, cilantro, and chives. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs and place on a parchment-lined tray.
