  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for about 1 minute.
  3. Add flour, oats, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until combined; set aside 1 cup for topping.
  4. Press the remaining mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
