  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable or mushroom alternative to oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Drizzle with avocado oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, rubbing the mixture into the meat.
  3. Place chicken skin side down in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, vegetable or mushroom alternative to oyster sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  5. Flip the chicken after 15 minutes and baste generously with the glaze. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Broil for an extra crispy finish if desired.
