  • 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 ounce can cream of celery soup (or cream of mushroom)
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts (cut into chunks)
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rice, both soups, chicken broth, and Montreal steak seasoning; mix well.
  3. Spread the rice mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Place the chicken pieces over the rice without stirring.
  5. Top with thinly sliced butter and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 55 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
