  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 3/4 cups beef broth
  • Olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into four oval patties.
  3. Cook patties in the skillet for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and mushrooms; sauté until moisture evaporates (about 7-9 minutes).
  5. Stir in butter and flour; cook for 1-2 minutes before adding beef broth gradually to create a smooth sauce.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to the gravy; return patties to skillet and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
