  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (188 grams) powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk (plus more if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and light brown sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Fold in pumpkin puree gently.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
