  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until combined. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
  3. Stir in chopped pecans until well-coated.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough into triangles and place about 2-3 tablespoons of filling on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up towards the narrow end to form crescents.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes; remove from oven and brush with reserved mixture before returning to bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.
