  • 3 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • 1 ¼ cups grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle some grated parmesan at the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, black pepper, and garlic base until warmed through and the butter melts. Stir in most of the parmesan cheese.
  4. Slice potatoes thinly using a mandoline slicer.
  5. Layer potato slices in the prepared dish and pour the cream mixture over them. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until tender; broil for an extra crispy top if desired.
