  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute before stirring in honey and remaining pepper; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the glaze. Set aside.
  5. In a saucepan, bring heavy cream to a gentle simmer over low heat. Gradually whisk in cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan until smooth; season with salt.
  6. Combine cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and fold in the honey pepper chicken.
  7. Serve immediately garnished with fresh parsley.
