  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ¾ cup flour (divided)
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, Italian seasonings, onion powder, dried thyme, mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic cloves until golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle â…“ cup of flour over garlic and whisk for about a minute. Gradually stir in chicken broth along with bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder; simmer until thickened.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon gravy over it. Cook on low for an additional few minutes before serving.
