  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 23 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Lower the heat, add butter to the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream while stirring to deglaze the pan, then add Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Mix in the cooked pasta, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet; simmer briefly to meld flavors.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
