Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cool water to stop cooking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, granulated garlic, and onion powder. Mix until well blended.
  3. Add in the diced onion, celery, and bell pepper; stir to combine.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cooled pasta with half of the dressing until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld.
  5. Just before serving, add remaining dressing to the pasta salad and adjust seasoning if necessary.
