  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar for the swirl; set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy; add egg, milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until well-blended.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Repeat with remaining batter and swirl mixture.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
