  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed (for filling)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. For the filling, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Roll out half of the dough on parchment paper, sprinkle with filling, and roll tightly into a log.
