- 10 cups Rice Chex Apple Cinnamon cereal
- 2 cups granola
- 1 cup green candy melts
- 1 cup lime green candy melts
- 2 teaspoons shortening
- 1 cup vanilla cake mix
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In two medium bowls, divide 10 cups of Rice Chex cereal into equal portions (5 cups each).
- In two Ziplock bags, mix vanilla cake mix, granola, and half of the ground cinnamon in one bag; repeat with the remaining cinnamon in the second bag.
- In separate microwavable bowls, melt green and lime green candy melts with shortening until smooth.
- Pour one melted candy mixture over one bowl of Chex cereal; gently stir to coat. Repeat with the second bowl using lime green candy melts.
- Transfer each coated mixture into its respective Ziplock bag and shake until evenly coated with the cake mix.
- Combine both mixtures in a large bowl, drizzle caramel topping over it all, and toss gently.
