Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned, then set aside.
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, simmering gently.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt, pepper, and additional Cajun seasoning.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency. Fold in steak tips.
  6. Serve hot with extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper on top.
