  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan and cooking diced apples with sugar and cinnamon until softened. Mix cornstarch with water and stir in to thicken.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten each biscuit dough round and place about a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center. Fold edges over filling and pinch to seal.
  4. Dip each sealed bomb in melted butter then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Bake seam-side down for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm for the best gooey experience.
